The Rookery Lamb at Home

Welcome to [email protected]!

Our @Home box serves two people and includes a starter, main course and dessert.

All of the ingredients you need come prepared and ready for you to simply finish off at home.

Each box contains instructions on how to cook and plate your dishes and we’ve packaged your food so that it can be cooked using very few pots and pans.

Our boxes are available for collection or delivery on Fridays and Saturdays. The deadline for ordering is 5.00pm the Wednesday prior to your collection / delivery day.

Fancy a bottle of wine too?

Simply add a bottle or two to your order and well have it ready for you when you collect your order. Remember you’ll need to bring a valid form of ID with you when collecting your box if you’ve ordered wine with it.

 

How does it work?

Simply decide which week you’d like to enjoy [email protected] (available Fridays and Saturdays), visit our online store by 5.00pm the Wednesday before you’d like your order and pop your food and drinks into your basket. It can all be paid for online for click and collect or delivery on your day of choosing.

 

How do I collect my order?

Your order can be collected from The Rookery at your nominated collection date and time. When ordering your box, choose the time that you’d like to collect your box and our Chefs will have it ready for you. Just arrive at The Rookery car park (at the beach side of Links House) and someone will bring your box to you.

 

How is my order delivered?

At the moment, we can deliver to DD5, DD7 and DD11 postcodes only. Just choose your delivery time at the checkout and our delivery driver will drop your meal kit to you within the two hour time slot. You can pay for it all in advance so you just have to sit back and wait for your delicious goodies to arrive!

FAQ’s

How much cooking is involved?

We’ve made it as simple as possible so you only have to finish dishes at home. Ingredients and sauces are already prepared by us, so you only need to cook or heat up using a grill, oven and microwave and then plate up to serve. The boxes come with an instruction card which talks you through the few simple steps.

When can I order?

We require all orders to be place by 5.00pm on the Wednesday prior to your collection / delivery date, therefore if you’d like to enjoy your box this Friday or Saturday, we need your order by 5.00pm on Wednesday.

Can I order wine with my meal?

Yes, simply add a bottle or two to your order and well have it ready for you with your order. Remember you’ll need to bring a valid form of ID with you when collecting your box if you’ve ordered wine with it.

Can I pre-order for the future?

Yes – you can. We have menus available to order in advance, just choose the weekend you want to order for and you’ll see our menu for that week!

Allergin Information

We list all our allergen information on our menu on the instruction card in your box. At this time, we cannot guarantee to cater for all dietary requirements, if you require allergen information before placing your order please get in touch. Just email us at [email protected] and we’ll let you know!

Do you deliver?

At the moment, we are offering click and collect for everyone, plus we can deliver to DD7 postcodes for £3 and DD5 & DD11 postcodes for £6. If you would like your order delivered, just choose the delivery timeslot at the checkout. We deliver on the Friday or Saturday between 11am-2pm and 2pm-4pm. If you’ve opted to collect your order, just arrive at The Rookery car park at your dedicated collection time and our chefs will bring your box straight to you.

If you’d like to order for two different weekends and require delivery for both weekends, then we please ask that you place these as two separate orders as our system cannot apply delivery details to individual orders over different weekends. Please bear with us as we look to resolve this soon. Thank you.

Can I use a gift voucher for my order?

Yes, you can use gift vouchers. We are working towards having an automated voucher redeeming system, but that’s a few weeks away, so in the mean time, please just send us an email to [email protected] letting us know you voucher details and your order details and member of our team will then get back to you to arrange your order.

What is the shelf life of [email protected] Box?

Our boxes can be enjoyed for up to two days after collections, however, to enjoy them at their best, we recommend that you consume on the day of collection.

How are the boxes packaged?

All the ingredients in our boxes are packaged and well sealed. We keep your box chilled in our fridge until you arrive. The ingredients in your box will stay cool enough until you get home after which we recommend you unpack and refrigerate your box items as soon as you can.

Can I cancel my order?

As we are only serving our [email protected] boxes at the weekend, we order all of your ingredients in fresh each week, therefore if you need to cancel your order we politely ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to ensure we reduce food wastage. Please note that refunds can take up to 14 days.

What if I have any other questions?
