We require a £10 per person deposit on all dinner reservations made after 5.00pm. This deposit will be used as a credit on your bill at you time of visit. As we continue to adhere to social distancing, our restaurant will have less tables in our restaurant to ensure that guests and staff are kept safe and feel comfortable, therefore, every seat is precious to us and tables not turning up or numbers changing with no notice would have a significant impact on our business at this time.
Please note that deposits are non-refundable within 24 hours of your reservation. Please contact us if your numbers change. If you wish to cancel your booking, please contact us no later than 24 hours before your booking on 01241 802296 and your deposit will be refunded in full.
In addition to the terms below, we ask that all guests adhere to the current government guidelines. Guests are responsible for making reservations in line with current government guidance and laws, ensuring that the number of guests and number of households are within the guidance and laws. The Rookery aims to ensure that guests are adhering to the guidance and laws, but does not accept responsibility if these rules are not knowingly followed by guests.
Tables are available for two hours as standard, after which they may be re-booked. Please contact us if you would like to stay at your table for longer than two hours.
We respectfully ask that you are ready to be seated at the time of your reservation to ensure the best possible level of service to all of our guests. If you are running late, we kindly ask that you notify us by telephone on 01241 802296 at your earliest convenience.
Should you wish to have a drink prior to being seated, please arrive earlier or change your reservation to a later time. You may continue your experience in the bar for drinks after your meal.
Out of courtesy, we request that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice for every cancellation.
For weekends and special events, we may require card details to secure your reservation. These details are securely kept with a third party called Stripe and will only be charged if the cancellation terms are not met.
Due to the large number of requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee window tables or specific areas when taking reservations, but we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Your understanding is appreciated.
We respectfully ask that food that has not been prepared in our kitchens is not consumed on our premises.
We cater for most dietary requirements and have strict policies in place for customers with food allergies. We are happy to respond to any specific requests for further information regarding allergens in our kitchens prior to your visit.
In the unlikely event of The Rookery being unable to open due to severe weather, guests will be contacted directly by The Rookery to offer rescheduled dates. Dates subject to availability.
